Malik Jardine

Malik Jardine is the Music Director at Christ Church Riverdale, where he directs the adult-choir and schola-cantorum.

Education & Career

• Current Study: Student at Westminster Choir College, studying under Dr. Thomas Gaynor.
• Previous Roles: Organ Scholar at Trinity Church Wall Street (2023–2024), where he participated in the "Pipes @ 1" Recital series and accompanied the Grammy-nominated Trinity Church Choir.
• Prior Training: Studied music at Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY) under Dr. Nathaniel Gumbs. He was the sole organist in the CUNY community college system at the time.
• Background: Raised in Queens, NY, where his church upbringing fostered an early interest in the organ.
