Daughters of Bethany

The Daughters of Bethany is a chapter of the Daughters of the King.  Daughters of the King consists of national and international chapters.  We are women and girls between the ages of seven and one hundred and seven who desire a closer walk with the Lord.  We are Christian women, both lay and ordained, who are strengthened through the discipline of a Rule of Life, and supported through the companionship of our sisters. The three pillars of Daughters of the King are prayer, service and evangelism.  We are all at different stages of our Christian journey -- some have just begun and some have been on this path for a long time.  But no matter where we are on our sacred journeys, our primary goal is the same -- to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others.  Contact Shirley Johnson, President, or Florence Maduro, Membership Chairperson, for more information.

The picture at right shows Daughters Joanne Argent, Clotilde Stenson, Shirley Johnson, Buffy Weeks and Roberta Todd with new children's clothing to be delivered to the Dominican Women's Development Center, November 1, 2022.  The gift included 19 coats, 9 hoodies, shirts and slacks, and other cold weather items.
