The Forde Concert Series is a community musical tradition at Christ Church Riverdale, offering performances spanning classical, jazz, flamenco, and African American song.

History & Legacy

The series is named in honor of distinguished late parishioners Dr. Kenneth and Kay Forde. After a COVID-related pause, the series resumed in May 2023.

2026–2027 Season

• Oct 4, 2026: The West Village Quartet (string quartet playing classical, pop, and R&B)
• Dec 20, 2026: Christmas Concert
• Jan 9, 2027: Art Songs with Marc Molomot (tenor) and Alex Ruvenstein (piano)
• Apr 18, 2027: Jazz Sitar and Guitar with Daniel Garbin and group
