Adult Choir
Perhaps you have great music memories of singing in Choir in high school, or belonged to a Chamber Choir or Glee Club in college. If so, consider joining our Adult Choir, which is comprised of both volunteers and professionals, music readers and non-music readers. Why not give us a “test run” and sit in on a rehearsal “under no obligation”? It's a wonderful opportunity to sing great choral literature, meet new friends, and spend some time "feeding your soul." We guarantee you'll leave feeling refreshed and renewed. Not only does our adult choir sing for the 11 AM service on Sundays, we also sing special services and concerts throughout the year. You are welcome to join the choir at any time during the year and you do not need to be a member (or for that fact, Christian) to sing with us.
Rehearsals
Choir rehearsals are easy! We rehearse only on Sundays from 9:30 – 10:40 AM in the Church, and sing at the 11 AM Holy Eucharist afterward. We purposely schedule choir rehearsals on Sunday mornings, very much aware that folks lead very busy lives and in many cases are parents and/or guardians working outside the home. By holding rehearsals on Sunday morning, we enable our choir members—and prospective choir members—some breathing room and flexibility, so they can offer their time and talent without feeling pressured to commit multiple days for rehearsals and services.
Annual Festival of Carols Holiday Concert
Each year, our choir is joined by dozens of other singers from the community, along with instrumentalists to present a concert of Christmas classics. Contact our music director if you are interested in participating in this annual event that's not to be missed.
