Altar Guild
The Altar Guild assists the clergy by preparing and beautifying the church for worship services. They are responsible for caring for the altar linens, vessels, and banners, and also arrange for the flower decorations in the church. Members of the altar guild serve one Sunday, approximately every 5 weeks. If you are interested in joining please contact Florence Maduro or Elizabeth Weeks.
The picture at left shows members of the Altar Guild attending the annual New York Altar Guild meeting in 2019. We had the highest attendance of any parish!
In 2019 our Sacristy was remodeled, thanks to a grant from the New York Altar Guild.
The Altar Guild underwrites the cost of the altar flowers. Please support us by making a gift in memory of loved one who has died, in celebration of a blessed event or anniversary, in thanksgiving for a particular blessing in your life, or simply to the glory of God.
